We love this place and the people around it

Our wedding day was 8th of March. This place is immaculate. Gave us so much freedom to do what we want on the venue. Food and drinks was amazing, we had so much food. Our money is all worth it. Yvonne and Aaron are always accommodating. They gave us all the support we need. I will never get tired to posting a review for this place because we are so happy for what the have help and given to us. We know this is their business but they never made us feel that they are just in for our money. So love this place and the people around it. All the best to all. I really missed this place.

Fantastic communication at a well-kept venue

I have yet to have my big day (it is later in November) however already the team at Avalon are 5 stars in my books! Fantastic communication, a beautiful and well kept venue as well as reasonable prices have made our dreams a reality.

I cannot recommend them enough, such an amazing place and seriously so excited for our wedding at Avalon!

The Wedding Planners found solutions for every little problem

Absolutely incredible venue. The owners are very lovely and very extremely helpful. Denise is an amazing gem. She found solutions to every problem and was cheerful and lovely throughout our forgetful process.

The food is incredible. Great sizes and tastes. And the location speaks for itself. Stunning.

The Rose Terrace was Perfect

I was married here Nov 2019. Could not have asked for a more perfect day. The venue was amazing, the rose terrace was a perfect ceremony location and the reception area was prepared exactly as we requested. The staff really made our day though, nothing was hard for them. Thanks Aaron and Yvonne for giving us such a memorable day. Our guests were very impressed.

Avalon Castle is absolutely amazing and we highly recommend it! Aaron and Yvonne were awesome from start to finish, they went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect for us. Thank you to Rhian and Denise for always being there to answer any question we had and putting our minds at ease with everything. Our family and friends were amazed by how beautiful the castle was and had such a great night there.

Being able to use the cottage to get ready was fantastic,

and the morning wedding platter was appreciated too!

This is a stunning venue in gorgeous surrounds. The gardens are lovely and the place is obviously so loved. The personal touches like seating in the garden, the gazebo they built and the light up tree just make for both special photos but also just lovely gardens to explore. Being able to use the cottage to get ready for the big event was fantastic, love the little touches they have in there, very comfortable and pretty room. The other guest accommodations were bigger than expected and each with their own ensuite is awesome. The beds were comfy and while the theme was present, it was not over the top. Fantastic venue for small-ish weddings. Wonderful staff, great range of food. Cannot believe how much there was to eat throughout the day! A platter for the bridal party before and after the reception was appreciated.

It was an amazing ceremony. The garden was absolutely gorgeous and is well taken care of so you photos look stunning! The decorating of the Gazebo was phenomenal and was more than I could have hoped.

Our guest all mentioned how amazingly beautiful the venue was.

Service did not miss a beat

Better than I envisioned. Amazing venue. Amazing food. So many guests made comments about the large portions and amazing quality of meals. Service did not skip a beat!

My best friend got married at Avalon Castle yesterday and it was perfect. The venue is stunning, with photo opportunities around every corner.

The on-site accommodation was comfortable, with all necessities one might need, and plenty of room for the bridal party and close family/friends.  The food served was delicious, and the ice cream bar at the end of dinner was such an amazing idea and loved by everyone.The staff here is what makes this place special. They go above and beyond to ensure the day runs smoothly and will help with anything you might need. I cannot recommend Avalon Castle highly enough. I am so thankful to Yvonne, Aaron and all the staff for helping my best friend have the most magical and special wedding day.

They genuinely enjoy sharing this special day with everyone involved, and by the end they felt like family.

Avalon Castle -- what a treasure this place is! From the moment we stepped out of our car for a viewing, we knew this place was for us. They took the stress out of everything, nothing is ever too hard for them, Aaron Yvonne and the staff at Avalon are so attentive and put their heart in to what they do! They made our wedding day an absolute dream for us and we will forever be thankful and be forever raving on about them! Food is so homely and hearty.

Prices are SO reasonable, and the onsite accommodation was priceless! All in one wedding venue!

The onsite Chapel is a huge plus for Melbourne’s weather

Working at Avalon Castle as a marriage celebrant is always a pleasure. The staff are so friendly and the gardens are beautiful! They also have a chapel onsite as a wet weather option which is always a plus for a Melbourne wedding. Looking forward to seeing you guys again soon Avalon!

Everything was included

Me and my partner just had our wedding over the weekend at the fantastic and picturesque Avalon Castle.  We loved that we could hold the ceremony and reception in one location this made it stress free. We had our wedding outside in the gazebo but there is also a chapel on site. The owners and all the staff were very attentive to our needs making sure our special day was as relaxed and smooth as it could be. Everything from the decor inside and outside to the food to even providing accommodation for the night was available.

I highly recommend having your special event at Avalon Castle.

Super impressed with how they accommodated the dietary requirements

Amazing venue. Had our wedding here recently and we could not have asked for more. The staff were with us every step of the way and were perfect on the day. Of particular note we were super impressed how accommodating they were of the dietary requirements of our guests, ensuring they had good food on par with what everyone else got and even hunting down our vegan friend to make sure she got some canapés. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

Having indoor and outdoor ceremony areas ready to go takes away a lot of stress

Ceremony here was Excellent, with choice of areas outside that are absolutely stunning as well as the gorgeous chapel. Caters for your preference and weather. We were able to use the rose terrace just before the rain came down, was beautiful, the staff were keeping look out at weather and were ready to have the chapel set up as our next option. Having both options takes away a lot of stress.

Aaron, Yvonne, Denise, and the rest of the team at Avalon castle did a great job with our wedding. My partner and I both had an awesome day and the castle itself looked spectacular.

Having everything included (ceremony, reception, food, drinks, accommodation for friends / family), all at a reasonable price, really helped to make everything run smoothly and easily. Additionally, having both indoor and outdoor options for the ceremony is ideal given Melbourne's unique weather patterns. We were able to decide right up to the last minute whether we wanted to do the ceremony outside or in the chapel.

The food was excellent as well. I received lots of comments from guests about how good the food was! The team was able to cater for all sorts of dietary requirements including vegan and gluten-free guests with no problems at all.

Lastly, you can cut the cake with a sword!

Would highly recommend!

The Bridal Suite was Great

Aaron and Yvonne without you and your team our Wedding Day in July would not have been the success that it was. The rain did not damper our moods. We knew Avalon Castle was the place for your fairy tale wedding as soon as we arrived for our first viewing. The grounds are just stunning and the decor fitting for a castle down to the shields on the walls and the sword for cutting of the cake. The food was very nice and enjoyed by all, including the amazing breakfast. To this day we are still being told how great the food was. The Bridal suite was great place to spend our first night as husband and wife.
